The Breuss Massage

The 'Breuss massage' was developed by the late Austrian healer Rudolf Breuss (1899-1990).

It is a very gentle spinal massage that safely stretches, aligns and energizes the back. Slow precise movements and the application of St. John’s Wort Oil are used for restoring the function of the intervertebral discs, relieving the spinal nerves that pass through the whole body.

Getting older, bad posture habits, and not enough active movements, slowly leads to the degeneration of our discs. During the day our spine, and especially our discs, are stressed by fulfilling their duty as shock-absorbers whenever we stand, walk or sit. Because of that the intervertebral discs are squeezed, some of the liquid within leaks out and the discs get thinner or wear away. This can even lead to nerve impingement. According to Rudolf Breuss "discs do not wear away but degenerate and therefore can be regenerated."

The principal of the 'Breuss Massage' is to gently stretch the vertebrae allowing the back to become more flexible. During treatment energy blockages are released and eliminated from the client’s energy field, leading to the overall feeling of well-being.ration process, balancing the spinal energies so that blockages in the physical, mental and spiritual levels are resolved.

This Massage technique is unique, highly effective, safe and totally relaxing. St. John's Wort oil is used for this type of massage for its special benefits.
